Stan meiburg, Craig colten and Anne Tisserand we’re joining The Water Institute as senior advisers.

Meiburg has 39 years of experience with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, most notably as Acting Deputy Administrator of the EPA from 2014 to 2017. He is Director of Graduate Studies in Sustainability at the University Wake Forest. He received a master’s and a doctorate in political science from Johns Hopkins University.

Colten, Founding Director of Human Dimensions at the Water Institute from 2013 to 2015, is Professor Emeritus of Geography at LSU and has studied the Historical Geography of Risk for over 35 years. He is a member of the American Association of Geographers and received a doctorate from Syracuse University.

Weaver has extensive experience as a facilitator and trainer in the public and private sectors, most recently as an Acting Learning Manager with the National Marine Fisheries Service of NOAA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biology from Florida Atlantic University.

Glen Duncan joined Quality engineering and surveying from Denham Springs as Director of Customer Support.

Duncan has worked in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, specializing in marketing, public relations, sales and business relations. Formerly at Amoco Production Co., WBRZ-TV, The Pennington Biomedical Research Center and The Louisiana House of Representatives, he most recently served as Director of Customer Support for Professional Engineering Corp. of Baton Rouge.

Andrew J. Miner has partnered with the Metairie law firm of Nalley and Dew.

Kristin crawford was appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for Kimpton Fontenot Hotel.

Crawford recently joined the Royal Sonesta team in New Orleans where she served as Director of Sales and Marketing. Previously, she held the position of Director of Sales at The Adolphus in Dallas and, prior to that, held several executive roles for luxury and lifestyle properties in Austin, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The Kimpton Hotel Fontenot is a 202-room hotel located in the Central Business District of New Orleans.

Amanda polkey was promoted to Head of Division-Diversified at Comprehensive logistics services, a nationwide endowment company based in St. Bernard Parish.

Polkey has over 20 years of experience in the staffing and recruiting industry. She has consulted with recruiting and recruiting firms in 11 states, focusing primarily on IT, engineering, accounting and office services.

She received an associate’s degree in business management from Delgado Community College and a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of New Orleans.
